Mow and the Monkey God . . . Why She Had to Go.

There are many things on the To Do List of the Champion of Gaia, Mow Yen. The most pressing being, befriending the different Gods and Goddesses of the lesser Earth dimension: 3.51. There in the 3.51 dimension, everyone is working to shift the Source-Consciousness to make it the Alpha Dimension but not all are standing in integrity.

The one God that Mow most want to meet is the Monkey God, Sun Wukong. This is the God of legend and she knows his legacy is the ability to follow one’s dreams by accepting life’s challenges and giving them something to fear. In his younger days, he was the Demon Monkey King that had to be tricked by the Buddha in order to gain stillness. This imposed stillness enabled him to begin his journey of the self by accepting the offer of the Goddess of Mercy. Her offer? Join an early tradition party which would proceed on a journey to the West for some Buddhist Scriptures.

Hundreds of thousands of centuries have passed since the party went its separate ways and Wukong ended up in the 3.51 dimension. In that time, he has matured into a wise Bodhisattva that is working with Gaia- even if his instincts are telling him that maybe it would be best if they worked apart. Without going into details (that’s what’s Dinner with the Monkey God will expose) Wukong has agreed to meet Mow if she comes to his home on the floating mountain, Sophia.

Receiving the invitation, Mow knows that she must go. Things aren’t rosy with Gaia. Dealings with the ruling deities are less than promising and Gaia has Mow on a short leash. The only good thing going in Mow’s life is her marriage to the Demon Lord, Donnie.

Mow know that Wukong knows what it is like to be in a position where a master is less than becoming to the ideas and behaviors of a student. Creating an inch to visit and befriend the Monkey God.

Mow left the 3rd dimension to come to the 3.51 and before she regrets and pleas a case for her death, she wants to talk with someone whose walked in her shoes. Her husband knows that she must do this alone and is praying that she finds whatever she needs to remain by his side, fighting for the elimination of poverty and excess; of individual ownership of land; and of the old consciousness on the many dimensions of Earth by bringing God-consciousness to them all. The very things she convinced him- and his horde -to strive for.

Nobody wants her to go but no one seems to understand her frustrations. The Money God does and maybe he can mentor her so that she can gain peace with Gaia and her duties, because as Gaia stated when Mow was Agape, “If you weren’t the one, you wouldn’t have made your way to my front door.”

That’s why Mow must go see the Monkey God. May peace be with you.

Spiritual Testimony of the Soul

There has been a personal awakening that has spilled over into my current WIP.

If I hadn’t mentioned it I’m halfway finished with the first draft of Lady Agape & The New Dimension. I completed 90% of that while on my working vacation. There were no distractions. When I returned home I had to go back and read what I had written since I was not able to stick to my outline and the few days off from writing broke momentum. Now I’m back at it, the summarization of what’s been written will be due Friday and I pick up where I left off on Saturday.

There will be a different me when I return to this project though since like most productive vacations, my mind has been rejuvenated and I have a new respect and love for what I do. I’d realize that being a fiction/fantasy writer, creating new worlds and new people, is hard a long time ago. I’ve always known that being a storyteller require stories from one’s experience, what one is taught by an elder, mentor, or book, or what one has bared witness to. But what I didn’t know or hadn’t realized is I am both. It may appear that I create people and events but I don’t I remember these things, I don’t pull them out of the air. They’re not original materials being downloaded as I initially believed. They’re memories; which is why I, like other storytellers, must live, learn, or bear witness to the things which I write. I share all that I’m able to remember in written form, not because I like to but because I need to hence the title Storytelling-Writer.

These are tales of how to live a spiritual existence while having this human experience. These are tales of my past as well as the past of others that may or may not walk the Earth. Because what I write is spiritual fiction, it’s not for everyone. And as much as I wish that I could entertain everyone, I know that only those who are ready to catch a spiritual catnap will share in my enjoyment.

Like anything that is divine, I’m starting out with an easy one- going within in order to change without. With time, I’m going to be trusted with more in depth memories which will allow me to tell stories that really heal on the scale that I wish to. Not that Lady Agape doesn’t heal, how could it not when the subject is about a young woman being transported to a new dimension which happens to be within her mind?

You may ask, how do I know that this is something that is coming from the memories of my soul? I know because I know my life and what I’ve learned and from who as well as knowing what I’m capable of creating. This isn’t coming through me it’s coming to me. There’s not much more I can say other than trust me. With my surrendering to the fact that I’m an Elder Soul who is here to learn about true, loving, unconditional relationships and how to help others, I will be able to manifest written stories unique to anything that has come before. I promise. Your trust will not be in vain.

Until the next spiritual and professional motion is submitted.

Plot Outline: Project 2017-2018- Revision of the storyline

As a creative soul, I’m being tested. I want to write something set in the year 1952. Nothing much happened during that year. We, America, was the power force to beat with our military and economics. We didn’t have to rebuild after the war and our great internal and/or covert threat was the whisper of the word communism. The American Dream was born with the invention of credit, bank loans, and quick, swift completion of tasks. We were beginning the path which now has us tackling debt, looking at war, and lacking the basic morals and common sense that we once had.

So why do I want to write about 1952? Why the 1950s period? I tell you . . . the calm of the 50s is calling out to me- I want to upset it. But there is so much that I must overcome as a writer of fiction/fantasy. First, I love the idea of having modern warriors and the 1950s had not defined itself as the face of today’s fighter by 1952 yet, it had outgrown the innocent hand-to-hand combat. So, I need to create. I also must deal with the reality of a lack of diversity of in the 1950s, since I want to include all kinds of things like an international boarding school for boys. That’s just two ideas that I need to toss. I want a powerful woman like Rowling’s main girl, but most women of the 1950s were in the house using the new quick appliances that were fresh on the market.

Is there anything to tell that will make good fiction? I believe that it’s like being in the fool position. At this point, there are no rules and everything is dependent on my actions. Therefore, I will put to heart the seven (or nine depending on who you ask) plotlines of a story and build me something from scratch. I will keep what I have, just adjust characters’ goals so that things are plausible. I will think what could have happened during this cooling down period in America’s history. I know that all stories need a lull and the 50s were one of young lady America’s.

The 18-year-old prince should be 20 or 21 and he must be running away from the tranquility of the 50s and be looking for adventure. Have him be ahead of his time. Place him in the Navy with the desire to be one of the special forces that helped to make the Navy SEALS. Then just as he is about to get a spot have his family murdered. Of course, I will keep him as royalty but make him the ninth child. Nine is a lucky number and the only one that survived is his sister Nancy. Yes, Nancy is in on the assassinations and had plans of taking the throne herself. Nancy and Ret. Fleet Admiral of the navy, the older, married man that Nancy is having an affair with, was hoping that the Main Character would have died while on an assignment. But he is in all sense of the word special forces.

The main Character calls on a friend that is stationed in another country (India/Hindi) and this friend, also a prince tells the main character to come to his small mahal. There the two begin to piece the facts together, or do they? They end up engaging the Prime Minister, Mimiya, who is working her (yes HER!) angle. This woman wants to have the monarchy to herself so that she can turn it into a republic; with her at the emperor. Mimiya is working Nancy, older woman who has been where the young woman is, angle. Together they send for the main character and tell him that he’s needed back home. Amit decides to travel with his friend and when they arrive there is the threat of war.

The MC must deal with a military uprising by the natives of one of the few remaining colonies/commonwealths that the Empire that the MC is now King of. The soldiers that were there were brutally murdered, men, women, and child, all of them natives of the Empire. The natives of the colony want their freedom and they are now in the 50s ready to fight for it. I may have a nonviolent character in there but I don’t know. This uprising takes place in a South African like place.

Recap: MC, Amit, Nancy, Ret. Fleet General, Prime Minister, military leader (warlord). That’s who we got so far. Then Amit’s homeland is attacked- civil war. Another Raaja (King in Hindi) has attacked the Raanee (Queen in Hindi) Andielle. Andielle is Amit’s grandmother and not only is she requiring that Amit return home but she wants the MC to send troops and weapons. The MC makes the decision to join in Andielle’s war and while he has troops there he also must send troop to deal with the military warlord, Hedeon. MC sends troops to deal with Hedeon and re-establish the Empire.

Now that is outside dealings. The MC is still trying to figure out who murdered his whole family. He decides to investigate on his own until he meets Nikol a Rear Admiral of a democratic country looking for allies. Nikol promises to help MC, in exchange he wants the MC empire loyalty against the Federation. The federation is a dictatorship that is attempting to push their beliefs on the rest of the world. Cadman is the Dictator and where he was engaging in conflict with Nikol and his people now Cadman sees young MC and decide to shift focus. An ending is still be worked out; all these characters are tied together by war, ambition, lust, and a little friendship. Lines are being drawn.

I want this to be character driven but if it’s not I can live with that. I’m pulling this from the air and only with the setting of the pieces will I see if I got it right.

Female Lead, A Girl for my Protagonist

I’ve been building/brainstorming my current WIP for a month now, but until an hour ago, I didn’t have a love interest for my protagonist. Let me just get it straight now, I’m personally not against love and affection. I haven’t told love to pack his bags and hit the road. And I understand fully that the fiction audience has come to expect a good romance storyline during any coming of age novel. With that said I couldn’t for the life of me come up with someone who would properly fit. I didn’t want to just have a place holder, you know, a cardboard cut-out of a girl that would sit and wait for my main character while he had fun saving the crown and land. I wanted someone that would be an equal to my protagonist, if not better. She had to be strong enough, wise enough, that she would know when to speak, what to say, and how to say it. So, I put the task of a girlfriend for my 18-year-old main character on the back burner.

As I carried on with brainstorming this manuscript, from the creation of a completed premise to the early drafts of a plot skeleton, I hit a wall. What was the protagonist motivation now that I’ve taken everyone he cared for away? I mean I killed everyone and the death that hit the hardest was committed right before his eyes. What would get my protagonist to get out of bed and even try now that he knows he can’t trust those who were charged with keeping him and his family safe? Would the love of the crown motivate him to put his life on the line? Would someone so self-centered care about his people and the legacy that is now his by birthright? Probably not to all these questions. I needed someone he would hope to save from the assassins that killed his family. I needed someone whose words could convince him to step up and be a man, be a king for his people. I needed someone who didn’t have all the answers but was willing to stick their neck out for the very reason they were pushing my protagonist to think and act outside of self. Ah, the girlfriend.

A girlfriend could see my protagonist cry and not feel the need to stop his grieving. A girlfriend who was trained to be a warrior could help him fight. Hell, I made her hobby studying war history so that she could advise him in the war he’s in; because after all, he is facing a native warlord, a militarized federation, and a group of assassins. I describe her as a lovely girl, beautiful in her own right. So, he’ll want to kiss her. They have a history together as he was there for her when her sister committed suicide over flunking out of the His Majesty Royal Academy for Girls. She knows his friends and except for two get along with them pretty well.

So there, I have a love interest that isn’t a curly sue. She is not perfect but she won’t back down from this situation knowing that if they hang in there just long enough allies will come in and help revenge the Turner family. But that’s a paper for another day. Until then know that I’m pleased with finding both more forward-moving plot and a kick-ass female lead.

A Sharing: Emmett’s first meeting with the animal-people

The following is an except from my manuscript Beings of SEU. This is the opening of the chapter when the wolf god Emmett agrees to help the animal-people get the freedom that many of them desire. As of now I still don’t have a name for the animal-people hence the word animal-people but they are evolved animals with awareness and understanding of free will and many of them want it. I will share a post about the novel in the coming days but the story really boils down to individual freedom and empowerment for a race of beings that were created as one entity.

Oh. I plan to do something like this with each chapter– a few posts of about 600-700 words each. Hopefully I will be able to show how the essay posts on this blog tie in with the excepts of the manuscript.

No matter what, Emmett did not feel as prepared as he had last night. There was something about knowing that in a few hours he would be before a group of beings that wanted more than what had been given to them by birth. Sabrina said that they wanted empowerment but he questioned what power was there for them to have. Rabbit told him that it was all about being able to experience the manifestations of your choices. But that was the thing, as animal-people they didn’t have power of creation and the Spiritual Law of cause and effect didn’t apply. They were asking for him to go against the design of the Creator of All That Is and All That Isn’t. He was only a god and couldn’t be responsible for these people or could he. His father felt that it was the job of all the gods to give the animal-people the same thing that the human-people had since they too had consciousness within self. It was that belief which caused his father to lose his life as well as the lives of the other animal gods.

As Emmett sat on the edge of the bed with his bare feet on the cold floor, he felt the energy of the sacred ground which he called home. Not that he didn’t normally feel the pulse of all those who watched after him but today was special. He tried to immerse himself in his morning prayers but his thoughts continue to drift off to the memory of a weasel-woman named Sarah who squatted on her hind hunches while crying and begging that he grant her the chance to use free will the way that Sabrina and Rabbit did. Emmett’s lip curled upon remembering the image. He opened his eyes and sighed. The weight of this decision was heavy and so consuming that he was having a hard time keeping his humanoid form. “Why do they want to go against the will of the Creator of All That Is and All That Isn’t?” He asked of no one.

Emmett couldn’t understand it. He couldn’t properly digest the requests for help which came from his father, the gods who died trying to free the animal-people, Sabrina, Rabbit, and he especially couldn’t understand the cries from the animal-people challenging the natural order of things. Why did all of them feel that he was the one to do something that hadn’t been done in nearly eight hundred years? He stood and pulled off his night shirt while making his way to the shower. Each step required concentration that he did not have and by the time he was in the bathroom he was in wolf form. “Well, this is great. I can’t even keep it together enough to take a shower. How am I supposed to be able to grant freedom that my father couldn’t even do while in his prime? I bet he never let his appearance slip beyond his control.” And with that statement he laid on the floor waiting for his thoughts to become aligned with the vibrational pulse of the human-people.

Time went by slowly but eventually he was able to change back into human form and take a shower. But before that happen Sabrina called him at least a dozen times before finally coming into his room to see what the hold-up was. Upon seeing him in his canine form she knelt down and rubbed him behind the ears. She was kind and compassionate about it all telling him that she would keep his breakfast warm in the microwave. But Rabbit, well Rabbit was Rabbit about the situation and told him that he was worrying about something which time had come a long time ago. As Rabbit explained it, this was just the beginning. Rabbit told him that it wasn’t a failure of the gods who went before them but instead a failure of the true desire of the animal-people who stood beside them. This time would be different, Rabbit guaranteed it. And before he left, Rabbit reminded Emmett that there would be about one-hundred and seventy animal-people at the den of the wolf god waiting for instructions and a beacon of hope. One-hundred and seventy of them who wanted Emmett’s final answer as to whether he would pick up where his father and the others left off.

Beings of SEU- Book 1: Emmett’s focus as a wolf god

In one of the novels that I’m currently working on, one of the supporting characters is a young god. To be more exact, his name is Emmett and he’s a wolf god. At this point in the manuscript some of the animal-people come to him in hopes that he will be able to break the ethereal chains of consciousness that bind them to the weasel queen Vivian, the antagonist of this tale. This is a big deal considering that Emmett is trying to figure out if he’s strong enough to be a productive god of living beings born without free will, not to mention the fact that if he does grant their request this means that they will come to him once need arises again. Sabrina, Emmett’s adopted human mother and protagonist, tells him to embrace who and what he is. Meaning Emmett must begin thinking like a god and therefore considering what he want for his world and the beings that live in it. As he start to ponder his godhood Sabrina remind him that he’s not God, Creator of All That Is and All That Isn’t, and because of that he owe it to his people to go beyond the basic needs of survival with his thinking.

This got me to wondering, as a god, what do I want to immediately manifest into my realm of reality? Knowing that my basic needs of survival are met, how do I continue with my innate desire to evolve and create? More importantly what do I create? The answer didn’t come easy and because of that I want to share it in both my novel and in this blog post.

Keeping with the wisdom that knowledge and experience is best obtained according to divine process, I decided that there would only be three things that Emmett/I would focus on during this story/stage of spiritual development; the first being embracing the idea of Higher Truth and Unity. I see that in order to properly deal with whatever may come next I need to personally know that all is love, all is one, and everything is connected and that is different from knowing that all is in divine order with divine intelligence. It’s the same thing for Emmett; he doesn’t know what will come to the connected race of animal-people once he breaks their chains but he understand that in order for life in his reality to evolve to the next level he needs to let all people experience what it is like to be both part of the whole and an individual. He has taken up the beliefs of his father which stated that we can still be connected while being apart. Just thinking about embracing Unity in a way that enable the whole to move on to the next step changes things for both worlds.

The second thing of focus is the realization that in order for people to truly be free they need to follow their own inner guidance, or soul, and let the traditional idea of leadership fall to the wayside. Vivian has proven herself to be a ruthless leader by killing, maiming, and keeping the animal-people in fear just like her father. Many gods have given their lives in an attempt to bring Vivian down, as a matter of fact it is by Vivian’s magic that Emmett’s father died, and that is something that frighten Sabrina and Emmett. But as a human Sabrina understand that the animal-people have it in them to make decisions for themselves since some of them are coming to Emmett and the guardians for help. Although Emmett believe that the chains must serve a purpose since the Creator of All That Is and All That Isn’t made them at the beginning of time, he look at the humans who follow their own individual paths but seem to be moving as a unit and gain inspiration. I too am watching my people seek individual leadership of self and I must say that I like it. By keeping with my first focus I am able to know that as one mind we are moving according to a divine directive which is leading us to total experience of this realm and more. Therefore, it is my job and the job of each and every reflection of me to support a new definition of freedom and independence.

The final focus is on the belief that people are the living abundance and that they are creators not just co-creators. No longer infants, we are becoming aware of the fact that what happens in our lives is all our doing while still embracing the truth that one way the universe support our thoughts is with the Universal Law of Cause and Effect. I see this focus as being the most exciting of the three as I now get a chance to see what I’m made of as a creator. Again, not that I don’t think that the universe is here by my side creating with me but I no longer believe that I am dependent on the universe to work ‘with’ me, I am and have always been free to create what I like. I am abundance and all is within me because all is one. In the story Sabrina knows that she has to convince all the animal-people that they are capable of creating anything that they desire by themselves since they are a magical race after all and have been producing according to the will of the chain bearer since the dawn of time. This is a concept that is totally new to them and is not well received at all but Sabrina doesn’t give up and by the end of Emmett’s first meeting with the people who want their chains broken she has convince everyone to just think about the idea of pulling on their own resources.

So those are the three things that Beings of SEU- book one will focus on. As a storyteller I’m excited to share my exploration into these areas beyond a one page blog entry and hope that by the time I’m finished with this second draft I will be well into the change of my own thoughts, behavior, and experiences. That’s one of the perks of being a writer.
